On Friday, 6 November 2020, in the evening at 18:50, in Kaunas, on Baltijos street near No. 82, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S70 and a Seat Ibiza. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Volvo (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (3.05‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
