On Saturday, 5 December 2020, in the evening at 18:44, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Biržai–Pandėlys–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 35.10), an Alfa Romeo 156 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.76‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
