On Wednesday, 9 December 2020, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Šiaulių district municipality, on Daugėlių street near No. 5, a Seat Toledo hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Seat (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (1.89‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
