On Friday, 11 December 2020, in the evening at 21:30, in Kaunas, on K. Donelaičio street near No. 65, an Audi A3 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Audi (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.56‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
