On Sunday, 13 December 2020, in the morning at 10:30, in Utenos district municipality, Daugailių village, on Plento street near No. 15, a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
