On Wednesday, 6 January 2021, in the evening at 20:40, in Kaunas, on Dvarų street near No. 13, a Citroen Xsara Picasso hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Citroen (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.79‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
