On Thursday, 7 January 2021, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl., at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Jaguar S-Type, a Renault Laguna, a Fiat Doblo, an Opel Signum and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Jaguar (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
