On Friday, 8 January 2021, in the morning at 7:28, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Gruzdžiai–Naujoji Akmenė national road (kilometre 17), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Renault and a Scania. No one was hurt in the accident.
