On Saturday, 9 January 2021, in the afternoon at 16:35, in Šilalės district municipality, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 15, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi A6 Avant (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
