On Saturday, 16 January 2021, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kauno district municipality, Jonučių village, on Sodų street near No. 117, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.84‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
