On Friday, 15 January 2021, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kauno district municipality, Giraitės village, on Automagistralės street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla Verso and a Volvo V50. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Toyota (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
