On Thursday, 21 January 2021, in the afternoon at 11:24, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Laižuva regional road (kilometre 17.14), a vehicle rolled over. One person was injured — the 45-year-old driver of a Dacia (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene.
