On Thursday, 21 January 2021, in the morning at 7:20, in Vilnius, on Dūkštų street near No. 34, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Toyota Auris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Ford (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
