On Friday, 22 January 2021, in the evening at 21:22, in Panevėžio district municipality, Naujikų village, on the Daugpilis–Rokiškis–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 98.07), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 registered in Germany and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Audi, who violated overtaking rules.
