On Saturday, 30 January 2021, in the evening at 22:14, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Anykščiai–Burbiškis–Rubikiai regional road (kilometre 1), an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
