On Tuesday, 9 February 2021, in the morning at around 10:00, in Telšių district municipality, on the Užventis–Tryškiai–Viekšniai national road (kilometre 20.10), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
