On Thursday, 11 February 2021, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Marijampolės municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 67.60), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Ford (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
