On Sunday, 14 February 2021, in the morning at 6:54, in Kėdainių district municipality, Nociūnų village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 64.33), a Scania registered in Czechia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Scania (28 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
