On Thursday, 18 February 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Viršuliškių street near No. 13, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318 and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
