On Friday, 19 February 2021, in the afternoon at 14:44, in Tauragės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Gedimino street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C5 and a Volvo FH12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Citroen (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
