On Tuesday, 16 February 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Viršuliškių street near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai Getz and a Volvo V60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Hyundai (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
