On Saturday, 13 March 2021, at night at around 23:00, in Panevėžys, on A. Smetonos street, at the junction with Topolių al., a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Seat Ibiza and a BMW 320 registered in Germany. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
