On Friday, 5 March 2021, in the evening at 19:58, in Vilnius, on Pelesos street near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S80 and an Alfa Romeo Alfa Mito. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
