On Wednesday, 17 March 2021, in the afternoon at 12:58, in Vilnius, on Žemaitės street near No. 16, a Skoda Octavia hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 90-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Skoda (10 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
