On Thursday, 18 March 2021, in the evening at 17:30, in Kaunas, on Brastos street, at the junction with Jurbarko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN TGX 26.400 and a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 61-year-old driving instructor (24 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. The 35-year-old driver of the MAN had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
