On Monday, 22 March 2021, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Kalvarijos street near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vivaro and a Mini Cooper. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Opel (34 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. He was drunk (1.67‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
