Volkswagen Passat hits a pedestrian on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Tuesday, 23 March 2021, at night at 23:04, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 107.60), a Volkswagen Passat hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Three people were injured — a 17-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized), a 58-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient) and the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 17-year-old pedestrian, who was walking on a motorway. He was drunk. The driver was sober.
