On Saturday, 27 March 2021, in the afternoon at 14:28, in Vilniaus district municipality, Krisčiškių village, on Bažnyčios street, an Audi 80 ran off the road. Three people were injured — the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt), a 38-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 54-year-old passenger of the Audi (severely injured, hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.48‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
