On Tuesday, 30 March 2021, in the morning at 8:50, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr., at the junction with Žemynos street, an Opel Astra-G hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 69-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
