On Thursday, 1 April 2021, in the afternoon at 13:26, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžio aplinkkelis main road (kilometre 10), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FAR XF105.460, a Wielton, a Krone ZZF18 and a truck. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the DAF (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.60‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
