On Saturday, 3 April 2021, in the afternoon at 14:10, in Marijampolės municipality, on Kauno street near No. 74, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4, a car and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.58‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
