On Tuesday, 6 April 2021, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 82, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Touran and an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (25 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
