On Tuesday, 6 April 2021, in the evening at 17:38, in Šakių district municipality, Giedručių village, on the Pilviškiai–Šakiai–Jurbarkas national road (kilometre 35.40), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Fabia and a Volkswagen Golf.
