On Tuesday, 13 April 2021, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Aukštkiemių village, on Danų street, at the junction with Olandų street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
