On Saturday, 17 April 2021, in the afternoon at 16:15, in Kaunas, on Pilies street near No. 17, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Jetta and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Jetta (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
