On Saturday, 17 April 2021, in the evening at 18:24, in Kaunas, on 9-ojo Forto street, at the junction with Saulėlydžio street, a KIA Motors ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (14 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
