On Friday, 7 May 2021, in the morning at 8:11, in Vilnius, on Polocko street near No. 4, a Toyota Yaris hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 46-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
