On Thursday, 13 May 2021, in the evening at 20:30, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Skuodo street, at the junction with Algirdo street, in a roadworks zone, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a moped and a Honda VTX 1300. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 12-year-old driver of a moped, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
