On Saturday, 15 May 2021, at night at around 2:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Pagojo village, on the Ariogala–Betygala–Šiluva regional road (kilometre 2.23), a Peugeot 406 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
