On Saturday, 15 May 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Žalioji street near No. 5, a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
