On Wednesday, 19 May 2021, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 26, a Toyota Prius hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 42-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Toyota (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He evaded sobriety testing.
