On Saturday, 22 May 2021, in the evening at 17:55, in Telšių district municipality, on the Anulynai–Tirkšliai regional road (kilometre 17), a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a DAF XF 95.480 registered in Poland and a Yamaha XV 1700. Two people were injured — the 43-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized) and a 37-year-old passenger of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the DAF (35 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
