On Wednesday, 12 May 2021, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėda, on Sukilėlių street near No. 20, a Citroen C4 Picasso hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 79-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Citroen (13 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
