On Thursday, 27 May 2021, in the evening at 20:27, in Vilnius, on Gariūnų street, at the junction with Titnago street, a Volvo XC90 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volvo (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.05‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
