On Friday, 28 May 2021, in the evening at 18:10, in Šiauliai, on Vytauto street near No. 70, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo and a Seat Leon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (19 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.68‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
