On Friday, 28 May 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, on Kauno street near No. 8, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 206 and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.23‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
