On Saturday, 29 May 2021, in the afternoon at 15:31, in Vilnius, on Antakalnio street, at the junction with Pauliaus Širvio street, at a pedestrian crossing, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and a Mazda 2. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.36‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
