On Tuesday, 8 June 2021, in the afternoon at 12:36, in Telšių district municipality, on Turgaus a. near No. 21, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Baotian BT50QT-9 and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Baotian, who failed to keep a safe distance. He evaded sobriety testing, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
