On Wednesday, 9 June 2021, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 78.10), a hitting an obstacle on the carriageway occurred. The accident involved a Renault Clio, a Neptun, a vehicle and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated cargo-transport rules.
