On Saturday, 19 June 2021, in the afternoon at 15:16, in Pagėgių municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 158), an Audi A8 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.81‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
